Under his direction, the choir performed many major choral works, including Bach&#8217;s St. John and St. Matthew Passions, Magnificat and Hohe Messe, Monteverdi&#8217;s Vespers of the Virgin, Mozart&#8217;s Requiem and the Mass in C minor, and Haydn&#8217;s major masses. In addition, works by contemporary composers including Kodaly, Britten, Toebosch, Maessen, Manneke, and P\u00e4rt. In 2020, the CVE performed the world premiere of Gerard Beljon&#8217;s Planctus Cygni during November Music in &#8216;s Hertogenbosch.<\/p>\n<h4>About the\u00a0NBO<\/h4>\n<p>The Netherlands Accompaniment Orchestra has been providing choral accompaniment for more than thirty years. The orchestra was founded in Arnhem and has acquired an indispensable place on Dutch concert stages. It has dedicated itself to accompanying choirs and soloists in the beautiful music written for that purpose.
