About the performers
The CVE uses the Cathrien as its home stage in a collaboration with Muziek in de Cathrien.
Rianne Wilbers graduated as a classical singer from the Tilburg Conservatory, but her curiosity and hunger for experimentation have broadened her horizons far beyond the world of classical music.
Gerard Habraken studied organ with Hub. Houët studied at the Brabants Conservatorium in Tilburg (Final Diploma in Solo Playing, 1974) and with Kamiel D’Hooghe at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels, where he graduated with distinction in 1976.
Rosemarie Seuntiëns is the city carillonneur. The carillon is played on Tuesdays from 12:30 to 13:30 and on Fridays from 16:00 to 17:00. Every first Saturday of the month, Rosemarie plays from 2:25-2:55 PM, prior to the concerts “Music in the Cathrien”.
Organist, harpsichordist and conductor Ruud Huijbregts studied organ, harpsichord and choral conducting at the Brabants Conservatorium in Tilburg.
Arjan van Baest works as a composer/arranger, conductor and pianist/organist in theatres and concert halls, and occasionally in churches. He is the conductor of the ‘s-Hertogenbosch Vocal Ensemble.
