About the performers

The Aether Trio is a classical music ensemble formed in 2025 by three international students of the Conservatory of Tilburg.

United under a shared passion for lesser-known repertoire the trio embarks upon a journey of discovery in a unique ensemble setting, exploring nuances in timbre, reinvigorating works eluded by the mainstream classical canon as well as broadening audiences’ horizons premiering new works. Drawing from their diverse cultural backgrounds, the three seamlessly blend each other’s distinct voices with an enchanting bravura and honesty that serves their collective aesthetic and artistic vision.

Recent achievements include winning the Audience Award at the 2024 edition of the Nico Vis Chamber Music Competition in ‘s-Hertogenbosch with Xiaozhou Zhou on the clarinet as the Arpemus Trio.
