About the performers

Toon Hagen is active as a concert organist, has runs a private organ teaching practice and works as a composer of organ and church music. He self-publishes his compositions. He has composed, among other things, motets, song arrangements for choir, organ, and orchestra, a number of fantasies for organ for concert use, a requiem, and a composition for two pianos with a duration of approximately 50 minutes. Part 1 of the psalms project will be published this year, featuring preludes and settings for all the psalms. In addition, as of December 1, 2019, he is also affiliated with the Grote Kerk in Apeldoorn as organist. His organ playing has now been recorded on seven CDs. In 2013, a recording of Simeon ten Holt’s Canto Ostinato was released, in an arrangement for organ, recorded on the Schnitger organ in Zwolle.

Ruud Huijbregts is active in various fields: as an organist, harpsichordist/continuo player, and as a choir conductor.
