About the Performers

Capella Sine Nomine is an ambitious project choir that has been led by André Vis since its foundation in 2013. Our goal is to perform choral music from different style periods at a high level. Sometimes we sing with the accompaniment of instrumentalists, but mostly a cappella. The programs are always challenging and surprising, both for the singers and for the listener.

10 years ago we jumped into the deep end, we started with Capella Sine Nomine, not knowing what to expect. With a small group of singers we sang the Requiem by Tòmas Luis de Victoria. That small choir without a name has now grown into an ensemble that has made a name for itself in the choir world.

We opened our anniversary year last February with the OldSkool concerts full of music from the Renaissance, and now we are standing before you with a program consisting of 20th and 21st century choral music. So Capella not only exists 10 years, but is also at home in all markets!

We are of course very happy with this anniversary, but we are just as happy with you as an audience, who have come to listen to us so faithfully all these years. Without you, no Capella Sine Nomine!
