About the performers

The Rosin String Octet was founded in 2021 by young and ambitious musicians based in the Netherlands. The ensemble consists of young string players from different parts of the world who share the ambition to bring a unique chamber music experience.

Their repertoire focuses on showcasing music written for string octet from different periods. In addition, the ensemble is committed to working with emerging composers and bringing this contemporary music to a wide audience in an accessible way.
