About the performer
Arjan Veen is a concert organist, church musician, and conductor. He is (cantor) organist at the Maartenskerk in Doorn and the Grote Kerk in Vianen. He is vesper organist at the Dom Church in Utrecht.
He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in organ from the Rotterdam Conservatory. He completed his Master’s recital in organ summa cum laude in 2015. He has won several prizes at international organ competitions. In September 2022, he received two awards, including one for the best interpretation of organ works by Cesar Franck. He recorded for BNN Vara on Brilliant Records and worked as pianist and organist on the Dutch-Flemish television series Elixer (2025).
Arjan earned his Master’s degree in Choral Conducting from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. He conducts the Eindhoven Chamber Choir (EKK), among others, and regularly leads projects, including an annual performance of Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and St. Matthew Passion at St. Martin’s Church in Doorn.
